You may want to offer promotion or discount codes to travelers.  Such as: employees, seniors, specific days of the week etc.


To add/view promotions go to your campground profile and select promotions on the top tab.


Click the green button with the checkmark.

Here you fill in out the information about your promotion(s):

  1. The title/description of the promotion (in this example, a seniors discount).
  2. The code the traveler will have to use to get the promotion.
  3. The start and end date of the promotion.
  4. The numerical value of the promotion.
  5. The unit of the promotion (percentage off or dollar off).
  6. Mark the promotion as active (people are able to use this promotion if they know the code) or inactive (the code wont work until you turn it on).  
  7. Select the checkmark on the left hand side of the screen next to the title of the promotion.



You can now see that the promotion is active.

This is what it looks like when the traveler uses the promotion code. They will apply it at the bottom of their screen before continuing to payment.


It is a good idea to advertise any promotion codes you do have on your campgrounds Facebook page, website, or other social media. You can include the promotion code in your profile.

Promotion codes can also be used if you need to give a select group of people a discount, as you can delete the promotion code when its been used a certain amount of times.

They are also useful if you want to give employees or the municipal workers of your region an employee discount of sorts. If you do this, make sure the codes are kept private, or create unique promotion codes for each employee.
