FAQs about moving bookings

Is there a new confirmation number for the moved reservation? No

Are there additional charges to move the reservation? No* if the sites have the same rates. If not there will be charges reflecting the changed rate for the nights that have been moved

What happens to the original reservation and the new reservation? The status of the original reservation will show 'MOVED' and will appear blue. The new reservation status will be 'Checked-In'

What happens to the original payment? The original payment will be split between the original and new reservations to reflect the number of days that are under each reservation***. The booking fee will remain with the original reservation and no booking fee will be on the new reservation

If I moved a reservation already can I move it again? No **

When can I move the reservation? You can move the whole reservation or move it mid-way through

How To:

  1. Open reservation. The reservation must be Checked-In status
  2. Select the red Change button under the campsite number
  3. Select the reservation move date and new campsite
  4. Scroll down and click Next on the main Edits page
  5. If the reservation is moved to a different site type or rate set-up, new charges will be calculated for payment
  6. If no payment adjustments are required, the move is completed by clicking Confirm

* If the campsites have differing rates set-up or site type, the system will refund the dates on the reservation's original campsite and adjust the payment in the charges tab prior to officially moving the reservation.

** Moves with another existing reservation require both reservations to be in checked-in status.  If the status requires to be changed, please contact support@campreservations.ca

***Example: the original reservation is for 6 nights and the move occurs halfway through. The original reservation will show 3 nights of charges and the booking fee and the payment being made reflecting that. The new reservation will show 3 nights of charges and the payment being made reflecting that.
